英美主流媒体“一带一路”倡议报道的隐喻比较分析A Comparative Study of the Metaphors of the Belt and Road Initiative in British and American Mainstream Media Coverage

摘要(Abstract):
文章通过Factiva全球新闻数据库获取2013年9月至2018年12月间英美7份主流报刊关于“一带一路”的全部新闻报道,采用认知语言学领域发展起来的概念隐喻理论(CMT)对英美主流报刊在“一带一路”报道中的概念隐喻使用情况进行了比较分析。研究发现:英美两国对“一带一路”的隐喻建构,既有相同之处,也有差异之处,但均与各自国家的利益和外交政策相一致。由此可知英美报刊的“一带一路”报道都戴着各自国家的“透镜”,而不是如西方媒体所标榜的那般“客观公正”。
